New Art , September Open Studios, and more!
A little art, a little sparkle, and a lot coming up!
Fall is just around the corner, and a lot is happening in the studio! I wanted to share a few things coming up—and give you a peek at what I’ve been working on this summer.
🏆 Central Valley Vista heads to the KVIE/PBS Art Auction!
I’m thrilled (and honestly, pretty honored!) that “Central Valley Vista” — Lot #257 has been selected for this year’s KVIE/PBS Art Auction. Even more exciting: it received an award in the Sculpture category! 🎉
Online bidding is now underway, leading up to the live broadcast October 2–4. And if you’re curious to see where Central Valley Vista ends up, tune in Sunday, October 4 from 6:00–6:30pm to find out who gets to take this piece home!
Did I mention it won an award? 😉 I’m still pretty excited about that!
🎨 Sac Open Studios is coming!
One of my favorite weekends of the year is almost here.
Things kick off with the Sac Open Studios Preview Party at The Verge on September 10, from 6–9pm.
Then, on Saturday & Sunday, September 19–20, from 10am–5pm, We’ll be opening the doors of ClayART814 with my wonderfully talented studio mates. Come wander through the studio, meet the artists, see what we’ve been up to, and enjoy a fun weekend of art! We’ll be at 814 Alhambra Blvd (near McKinley Park.)
✨ And… there’s new work!
This summer has been a time of evolution in the studio. You’ll still find my signature aerial perspectives and a healthy dose of mid-century-modern inspiration, but I’ve been taking my work in some new directions as well.
